The staff has a variety of reasons for the symbol, but the most common is the importance of 5 points through the four elements: earth, air, fire, water and spirit. As for witchcraft and Wicca, some people say that Wicca, but do not practice witchcraft (although I met one), and some practice sorcery and did not say that Wicca (I) itself is simply known as witches. ) The employee (or employees is the symbol of Wicca (a religion of nature) is based.

Witches and witchcraft are not required to wear pentagrams, and many do not. Other groups also scope. Whereas the reasons for use, are numerous:

The identification of Faith
In addition, reminiscent of the faith
Magical associations with the symbol (general protection often is)
Fashion Statement
According to a particular faith (as the unity of the five elements)

As the cross for Christians is the pentagram a symbol of their religion and one that helps them feel close to God (s) and / or spirituality.

This would ask for is

- Why do Christians wear crosses or crucifixes in magic or fashion?
- The Jews are using the David Stern, the magic or fashion?
- Etc, etc.

The answer for most is in all cases would be: no. Instead, there is a religious personnel on the basis of faith of every person.

And as some Christians believe that blessed them with the crosses in your home, protect them, I suppose witches feel the same about their religious objects.

Many do it for the fashion statement. For others, bring in the truest sense. But then the meaning is:

") Pentacle (five-pointed star on top: a standard symbol for witches, freemasons, and heathen, or many other occult groups. To the witches to the four elements (air, water show, earth and fire), as well as a pantheistic spiritual being, such as Gaia or Mother Earth. The staff is also be used "to protect. Power to prohibit or make it, depending on how it is set up, "wrote a visitor to Wicca."

"Pentagram (five star) was down: use in occult rituals to direct forces or energies. Satanism is often horned god or multiple expressions of contemporary occultism, especially when the head of a goat, superimposed on the inverted pentagram in a" sacred circle.

Many people identify with people in different ways. In most cases symbolisc) is their faith (like the cross for Christians. It symbolizes the four elements: earth, air, fire and water, the Spirit is the highest point. Many compare it to the protection of all the negative, but anyone can say the same thing with any kind of amulet or a talisman.

I use mine to protect themselves. I prayed for him and blessed him. It is also a symbol to remind me not to give to the negativity. Some play in Wicca, I follow the rules. Be open to see comments from some people because they be spiritual and not all of them.

The pentagram / pentacle is often used as a symbol of protection. It was supposed to protect something, probably more accidents than anything else. Most are used because they are beautiful and like-minded people to who can afford it take to have a conversation. I wear mine because it is very nice and good looks.

Yes, I wear my attention. Therefore, it is about one quarter inch in diameter. * Eye roll *
